Today I visited Fort River Elementary in Amherst Massachusetts. About 15 to 20 years ago I attended this school, and a few of the same teachers were there to say hello. Now, my eight-year-old niece attends the school, and I spoke with her third grade class as well as three others. With kids this age, I spend more time just talking about the number of people on the planet, in the United States, and in their home town.
Hi. My name is Tyler. I’m in your nieces class. I really like that you are riding your bike across the America’s. And what I really really like is that you are warning people about Global Warming. I’m kind of a biker myself. But I’m NEVER going to be as good as you. Well I hope you achieve your goal of going all the way to the bottom of South America and warn people about Global Warming. I’ll keep checking back about your progress.
From, Tyler :) ;)
Hi David it’s Tyler again. I’m always checking on you. I’m biking to school today.
Bye. Tyler :) ;)
Dear David,
Thank you for telling the class about global warmming. Me and Max are trying to spred the word to. But we are not plannig on biking that far in 1,000,000 years!
See you soon!
